Company goals
The company’s objective is to increase the overall production and consumption of green energy in Serbia through the construction of the Plandište 1 wind park and in this way to contribute to the sustainable development, reduction of CO2 emissions, and the efforts against climate change. Combatting the negative effects of the global warming and pollution is a goal of every socially responsible company that cares about the planet’s sustainable future. Estimates are that 20 years of the wind park’s operation will result in the reduction of CO2 emissions by as much as 5.4 million tons.
The construction of the Plandište 1 wind park and green electricity generation will also contribute to the fulfilment of Serbia’s international obligations in terms of increasing the overall green energy production and consumption according to the regulations of the European Energy Community. Furthermore, the construction of the wind power plant will contribute to Serbia’s energy stability and independence and create new working places through direct employment or involvement of local contractors for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the power plant.
